Article Submission - Beat The Google Duplicate Content Filter
The internet is a pendulum that swings back and forth. When it comes to article submissions, you must beat the new Google duplicate content filter.
Killing Article Submissions
The world of internet marketing was fairly simple and straightforward for a number of years. Write articles by the bundle and submit them to the large article directories. Then article directories started popping up everywhere. By submitting your article to all of them, you could generate a ton of valuable one way links to your site and do gangbusters in the rankings on Google, Yahoo and MSN. Ah, but then the search engines fought back.
People like yours truly spend way too much time trying to come up with ways to generate lots of valuable links to improve rankings. It is like milking a cow. The idea is to get the most milk with the least moo. Okay, I don’t know anything about milking cows, but you get the idea.
Articles certainly seemed like the answer. How could you possible generate more milk…err, links for you site with less effort? Well, Google agreed but thought this was unfair. The powers that be at the company came up with the much hated duplicate content filter, and it has been copied by others on the web.
So, what is this filter? Cutting to the chase, it basically finds all the copies of your article on the web and then gives you only credit for one. Even if 10,000 sites picked up and republished your article, you get credit for exactly one copy and corresponding link to your site. This is why a lot of article sites have seen a severe reduction in the number of submissions.
So, can you beat the filter? There is always a loophole, right? Well, we’ve tried a lot of programs with little or no luck. One, however, is definitely working. It shows solid results with Google, but really kills it on Yahoo. We’ve gone number one on terms we thought would require a lot more work. Being naturally lazy SEO gurus, this is very pleasing.
So, what is the program? It is Unique Article Wizard. It is really easy to use, but somewhat hard to explain. That being said, we’ll try to.
The basic idea is to create three versions of the same article. Yes, you have to work a bit, but it will pay off. The three versions have the same number of paragraphs and they are small, to wit, no more than three lines of text each. Each paragraph in each articles says the same thing, but written differently. For instance, the second paragraph of each article means the same thing, but is written using different words. The idea is to create three versions of the same article where the paragraphs can be switched around without the resulting article losing its meaning. The program helps you re-write the paragraphs, so don’t get caught up on this.
Now, it is time to do an end run on the duplicate content filter. The program starts submitting to hundreds of article directories and ezines. For each submission, it picks different paragraphs from each of the three versions of the article. It might take the first paragraph from the third version, the second paragraph from the first version and so on. The end result is each article submitted to each article directory is UNIQUE! This means not two versions of the submitted articles are duplicate content, which means each link counts! Frankly, it is a great program.
You can’t buy the program. It requires a monthly subscription, but is worth its weight in gold. We give it our highest recommendation. The sales pitch on the site looks cheesy, but it actually works. Give it a try and you’ll be happy you did.
